Mission Hill

For some reason, the Boston Redevelopment Authority has included Mission Hill as part of Jamaica Plain for a while now. This make no sense to me, since the Hill has its own unique character—in terms of architecture, geography and real estate prices. In fact, the neighborhood even had its own eponymous short-running animated series on MTV.

- North: Muddy River to The Riverway, to The Fenway, to Louis Prang Street @ Huntington Ave, to Prentis St. @ Southwest Corridor Park.
- East: Southwest Corridor Park to Heath St.
- South: Heath St @ Southwest Corridor, to Walden St. @ Horan Way, to Jefferson Playground, to the Leverett Pond.

Southern Border
It's really difficult to nail this down, due to the residential backfill, but the intention is to capture the definite shift from traditionally unoccupied hilly lands now filled with hospitals to the flatter areas with residential homes, which seem consistent with Jamaica Plain.
