Hyde Park was the last neighborhood to be annexed to the City of Boston, and is also the part furthest from City Hall. The furthest parts of Hyde Park are contained in a sub-neighborhood called Readville.

  • North: Emeking Parkway at Blue Ledge Drive, Highcrest Road, up to George Wright Golf Course, up to George Wright GC Pond to Emeking Parkway and Gordon Road, Braeburn Road to Myopia Road to West St, to Poplar St, to Canterbury St (see The Hook below).
  • East: Canterbury St at Hyde Park Ave, Chapel Road at Ferrar Ave, Chapel Road to Lewiston Street to the Neoponset River.
  • South: Neoponset River, Beacon Street @ Smith Street, Google Maps Street View Addresses.
  • West: Deadham Parkway to Emeking Parkway.

"The Hook"

This looks like total nonsense, but if you view the satellite or terrain maps, it sort of comes together. The western edge runs through an undeveloped forest, along a golf course, and the eastern side is the low point between two hills.
