Beacon Hill
From Boston Neighborhood Map
Beacon Hill is Boston's oldest-feeling and most established neighborhood. There's room for debate about whether the "upper" part, east of Bowdoin street, is actually part of the neighborhood or not, but since the flattening of old Scollay Square in the 50's, I think it attaches more readily to Beacon Hill than any other part of town, despite some massive architectural dissimilarities.
