Back Bay

Back Bay was built on landfill in what used to be swampy tidewater of the same name. The streets exist along a planned grid and everything.

Current Boundaries

North: Charles River
East: Arlington St to Columbus Ave
South: Columbus Ave to the Mass Pike, along the Pike to Huntington Ave, along Huntington to Dalton Street and eventually the Pike again
West: Charlesgate East
